Caspian Tern goes Fishing - On the Very Foggy Shores of Lake Michigan

The weather did NOT cooperate on my visit to Sheboygan Wi. last week. When I did have some free time for birding it was raining or very foggy conditions as you can see from these pics. I'm hoping that next year will be better :)

On the Shores of Lake Michigan - Caspian Tern

In between the thunderstorms and fog I did manage to get a passable picture of what I believe is a Caspian Tern (left the Stokes & Sibley at home!) Been busy with family and friends and hope to do some birding on the fly.

Lazuli Bunting - Wings on Wed.

I knew that the Lazuli Bunting is listed as being within our area range, but I had never spotted them and envied those who actually got a photo. So I was more than happy that this beautiful bird decided to stop by and enjoy food at the feeder :)
