While out on my daily hikes in the forest these last couple of weeks, it has been slim pickings for new bird photos. I guess its just that time of year of "in between" before bird migration. However, I have noticed an abundance of hawks in the forest and out on posts on the nearby roads. I would have to say that this hawk pictured is larger than a Kestral - but then again you know my track record for I.D.ing hawks.   :)
