Hi Cynthia, These Quail are neat. One time when I was in Montana I got fairly close to a group of Quail but they got spooked just as I got close enough for photos. Off they went. People who are not into birding photography don't realize how hard it is to get these close shots. Nice work! John

Thanks! I think I must scare them up into trees. I never have had photo opportunity of them on the ground with chicks:)Some day!
