This past week has shown a marked increase of Junco activity at the feeder as Fall makes its subtle return

Happy to see this white-tailed (leucistic) Junco return as he was here last year :)

I observed this newbie fledgling doing the "feed me" hop/dance to get Dad's attention while on the ground. Dad tried hard to show him the finer arts of dining, but to no avail. So Junior hopped on top of feeder and allowed me to get these interesting photos. Kudos to a patient father :)

Our morning hike on Clear Creek Trail started off sunny, but there was a small storm brewing.  

 

Didn't see much wildlife on the trail, except lovely settings.
